We are a small business, many companies have tried to sell us e-commerce business packages, shopping trolleys secure systems etc. We have considered these but the costs are currently excessive for our turnover. Once we have your credit card details there is no further need to send them with future orders. Orders are then simply placed by the normal e-mail, telephone or FAX channels.

We prefer MasterCard or Visa; we are now able to take American Express.

If you send Credit Card Details by E-mail we suggest that you send credit card details in two e-mails, the first with the first two groups of numbers and the second some hours later with the remaining numbers and expiry date.
You may also fax us on +44 (0) 1207 544 455, or telephone on +44 (0) 1207 544 455

Your card security in our parcels
It is our policy to black out the last four numbers and the expiry date on you’re your credit card receipt, it seems that this is a high risk situation and it seems to us a sensible precaution.

DELIVERY

Postage Charges
For all overseas postage we use Airmail Small Packet. We use Jiffy type bags as we have found these "bounce" better when thrown about by the postal services. We have had less damage than occurred when we used solid boxes. They are also as cheap and are lighter than boxes, which reduces your postage charges. A single resin kit to USA is seldom more than 2 pounds P&P, metal kits are a little more.

Insurance
For many countries we do not suggest insurance as we have had only one lost parcel and that was to a UK customer. Parcels can be insured if a customer so desires in which case we use International Registered Mail where this service is available, currently this service costs 3.15 pounds (subject to change). International Registered is not available to some countries including USA and in those cases insurance becomes very expensive. It is our policy based on experience and common sense to post parcels as economically as we can. With overseas parcels where International Registered is not available for orders of four or more kits we send parcels of 2-3 to minimize the loss if a parcel should go astray. This seems a sensible precaution and adds a minimal extra to postage. Our invoices request that you acknowledge safe receipt, this is really for our piece of mind so if it involves postage charges to you please do not feel that this is "compulsory"

CUSTOMER CARE

Lists and Other information
We do not charge for sending lists and advice sheets however there are over 5000 different models available and to send every list is very expensive. Please help us keep our postage and printing costs down by giving us an idea of your interests and the period you are interested in. If we can include lists in parcels it reduces our costs, your parcel is charged only for the kit weight, we pay the extra for the lists.

Problems
We will always attempt to replace damaged or faulty parts from any kit. Please however be aware that most of these kits are produced in very small quantities. An average production figure is 250 so they may become deleted fairly quickly. We suggest that on receipt of your parcel you take a few minutes to check that all the parts are present and undamaged. If your kit sits on the shelf for several years as many of mine have it is probable that we will not to replace damaged or missing parts.

We Welcome any feedback from customers as this helps us provide a better service to you.
