In 1957 Vanwall team received a special transporter based on a Leyland Worldmaster chassis. In the same year Vanwall became the first British manufacturer ever to win the British Grand Prix, at Aintree in 1957 with drivers Stirling Moss and Tony Brooks. They followed up with victories in the Pescara and Italian Grand Prix. In 1958 Vanwall team won Dutch Grand Prix, German Grand Prix, Portuguese Grand Prix, Italian Grand Prix, Moroccan Grand Prix and Vanwall won the first-ever FIA Formula 1 Constructors’ World Championship.
